Bed-Stuy Parents Invited To Meet With NYC Schools Chancellor

District 16 will hold a Town Hall with Chancellor Richard Carranza next week.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Bed-Stuy parents are invited to join a discussion with New York City Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza next week.

District 16, the school district that spans most of the neighborhood, will host a virtual Town Hall with the head of the city's Department of Education on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

The hour-long meeting will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and give parents an opportunity to address questions and concerns with the schools chief.
