MAP: This Bed-Stuy Store Crawl Will Help You Shop in the Neighborhood This Season

BED-STUY, NY — If you skipped the Black Friday madness this year in favor of shopping small and local in your own neighborhood, the Bed-Stuy Store Crawl has your back.

Put together by resident Claudette Brady, the crawl is a map of over a dozen local Bed-Stuy boutiques and shops where you can find gifts that are actually original, and that will actually ring as special to everyone in your family.

Shopping local is one of the best ways to give back to the community, local activists say. This particular crawl focuses on handmade goods made by artisans, designers and makers in Brooklyn and New York City.
