Anti-Gay Attacker Breaks Young Woman's Nose In Bed-Stuy: Cops

A 22-year-old woman was punched in the face and groped while waiting for a J train in Bed-Stuy, police said.

BED-STUY, NY — A hateful attacker broke a young woman's nose on a Bed-Stuy station platform after spewing anti-gay slurs, cops said over the weekend.

The woman, 22, was waiting for a J train at the Broadway and Myrtle Avenue station Thursday about 1:15 p.m. when she was groped by a stranger, police said.

Her attacker made anti-gay remarks then punched her in the face repeatedly, fracturing her nose, according to the NYPD.

The woman was transferred to an area hospital, but her attacker ran — and police continued to investigate the hate crime Monday.
