Blaze Spreads Through Dekalb Ave. House

Update: 12:20 p.m. The fire was under control at 11:32 and there were no reported injuries, an FDNY spokesman said

A fire has traveled through the walls to all three stories of a private home at 1083 Dekalb Ave. between Reid and Stuyvesant avenues.

The fire broke out just before 10:35 p.m. About 60 firefighters are battling the blaze, but they have completed a search of the building and nobody was found inside, an FDNY spokesman said.
