BED-STUY, NY — A Connecticut parkgoer last week found the body of a man killed in Bed-Stuy in January, according to the New York Daily News and police.

Martin Wright, 44, was killed on Jan. 28 in his suspected killer's Bed-Stuy residence, police said in April.

Wright's body remained missing even weeks after his suspected killer was arrested — until a Connecticut parkgoer found the body in a shallow grave last week, according to the New York Daily News.

Martin's brother, McMillian Wright, was arrested in April for the murder alongside Craig Smith, 48, of Cypress Hills, who police say helped hide the body.

Police told the NY Daily News Martin was shot in the head.

One of Martin Wright's family members in February tipped off police about his death, prompting an investigation.

Martin's son told the Daily News the discovery brings the family some closure.

"Now there’s nothing in our mind to say, okay, he’ll just bust through the door and say, ‘I’m here,’” Martin Perez told the Daily News. “Now that the body is found, there’s nothing for you to hold onto.”
