Brooklyn Construction Accident Leaves 2 Workers Hurt
The workers were "alert and conscious" according to police.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Two workers were injured on Thursday morning at an accident at a construction site in Brooklyn, the NYPD told Patch.
The accident happened at 137 Lefferts Place, near the border of Bed-Stuy, Fort Greene and Crown Heights, around 9:40 a.m., according to police.
The workers were "conscious and alert" and not likely to die, police told Patch. No other details were immediately available from authorities.

A New York Daily News photographer on the scene said metal joists on the scene didn't hold.
