The three representatives secured the massive sum of federal funding in a 2022 government funding package, Gillibrand said.
"Interfaith has been providing high-quality, compassionate care and 21st-century care in 20th-century infrastructure,” Jeffries said.
Interfaith's patient population is primarily enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid, who will see better care and safety, according to Jeffries' office.
"Today’s announcement is a great example of federal funds being used to ensure historically underserved communities have the same access and quality services as anywhere else would," Schumer said in a statement Friday.
Interfaith Medical Center — 287 beds-large — is part of One Brooklyn Health's three-hospital umbrella.
