Cops Search For Suspects From Triple Shooting In Bed-Stuy: NYPD

The group were in a dispute with someone on a street corner last week when one of them took out a gun. Three people were shot, cops said.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Police have released photos of three people involved in a triple shooting last week in Bed-Stuy.

The three people, one woman and two men, were at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Fulton Street when they got into a dispute with a 33-year-old man around 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 11, police said.

As the dispute escalated, one of the men in the group took out a gun and fired at the 33-year-old, hitting him in the leg. The gunshots also hit two bystanders after ricocheting off the pavement, police said.

The bystanders, two 50-year-old men, were hit in the foot and the leg, police said.

The three suspects fled north on Franklin Avenue after the shooting.

All three victims were taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

Police have released photos and descriptions of all three suspects, one of which they identified as the shooter.

The man identified as the shooter is approximately 20 years old, stands 5' 10" tall, weighs 170 pounds and has a tattoo on his hand, police said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a white vertical stripe down the arms, blue jeans, black and white sneakers and a blue baseball cap.

The second man is also approximately 20 years of age, stands 5'10" tall, weights 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a light colored sweatshirt and blue sweatpants, police said.

The woman is between 17 and 18 years of age, stands 5'3" tall, weighs 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a black dress, police said.
