BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Hero's job: Founder Non-profit advocates for Individual with Intellectual Development Disabilities
Reason for recognition: While recovering from kidney transplants and still running the agency, the agency's CFO died and she had to learn his very complicated job to keep serving clients. Then COVID-19 drastically changed our services. She had to learn new technology and teach.
