Dive in, Brooklyn!
New York City public pools officially opened on Thursday. How do you rate the Kosciuszko Pool?

Yesterday, June 28, all 54 of New York City's public pools officially opened!
So, if you haven’t yet visited an outdoor pool in Brooklyn, it’s high-time to dive in!
All pools are open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and they close between 3:00 and 4:00 for cleaning, so if you come at 2:45 they won’t let you in.

Also, the only things permitted on the pool deck are a towel, sunscreen, a water bottle, books or bound periodicals (such as magazines) and rubber flip-flops or water shoes. No newspapers or electronic equipment–including cell phones–are allowed. If you want to wear a t-shirt over your bathing suit, it must be plain white. So you need to bring your own lock for everything you can’t bring poolside.
There are six public pools in Brooklyn. Luckily, Bed-Stuy houses one—The Kosciuszko Pool.
