Dryer Fire Breaks Out at Lafayette Avenue Brownstone
Blaze reported around 3 p.m. Sunday.

A blaze caused by a dryer sent 60 firefighters scrambling to 862 Lafayette Ave. in Bed-Stuy on Sunday afternoon.
According to the New York Fire Department, fire and heavy smoke was reported at 3:09 p.m. It was unclear if the dryer was located on the first floor or the basement of the three-story structure located between Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Lewis Avenue.
The fire was put out at 3:22 p.m., according to the FDNY. 12 fire units responded to the scene.
