Early AM Fire At Crown Heights Building: FDNY

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A fire broke out this morning at an Eastern Parkway building, according to fire officials.

At just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, FDNY said they responded to a fire at 426 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, between Rodgers and Bedford Avenues.

It took over an hour for smoke eaters to put out the flames, according to the department, and required multiple engines to assist squelching the flames.

The FDNY official said that two people were injured and brought to nearby hospitals.
