To Host Art Auction in support of “For Colored Boys, REDEMPTION” the critically acclaimed web series created, written, and directed by Stacey Muhammad. Shabazz, as well as other respected artists, will donate their work and other collectibles at the special gathering for Muhammad, an award-winning filmmaker. Autographed basketballs from two NBA players will also be auctioned – one from Carmelo Anthony and the other from J. R. Smith, both from the New York Knicks. The two-night event will feature the silent auction, plus a screening, a “meet and greet” with cast members, and a panel discussion with notable figures in the film and art industries.
