BED-STUY, NY — A shooting at a Bed-Stuy shop left a 29-year-old in critical condition Thursday night, police said.

The man was shot multiple times inside a store on Malcolm X Boulevard between Decatur and Bainbridge streets about 9:35 p.m., according to the NYPD.

He had been arguing with two other people who had just entered the store. One pulled out a gun and shot, hitting the 29-year-old in the arm, chest and face, police said.

The 29-year-old was rushed to an area hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.

The New York Daily News reported that two men were wounded in the shooting, but police could not confirm the second victim to Patch.

The shooting occurred at a smoke shop, and one of the men shot stumbled several blocks away, according to the New York Daily News.

Police had not made any arrests Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
