Jewish Man Punched In The Face In Bed-Stuy Hate Crime: Cops
The attack is one of at least two antisemitic incidents over the weekend in the borough, according to officials.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A Jewish man punched while walking down the street in Bed-Stuy was one of two "disgusting" antisemitic attacks in the borough over the weekend, according to police and elected officials.
The 24-year-old man, dressed in traditional Hasidic clothing, was punched in the face while walking down Stockton Street near Marcy Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, police said.
Video shows the attacker running from behind a parked car, punching the man from behind, and running away.

The assault is being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crimes Unit.
Elected officials have also jumped in to condemn the attack, which was one of two antisemitic crimes in the borough.

Also over the weekend, swastikas and other graffiti were spray-painted on a yeshiva school bus in Williamsburg, according to Council Member Lincoln Restler.
"I am angry & heartbroken by two more anti-Semitic, violent incidents in our community over Shabbos," Restler tweeted with a video of the Bed-Stuy attack.
"This is not who we are," U.S. Rep. Nydia Velazquez added. "These disgusting, anti-Semitic, violent attacks on our neighbors must end."
