Man Fatally Shot At Album Release Party Near Bed-Stuy: NYPD, Report

A 31-year-old man was shot in the torso over the weekend, police say.

BED-STUY, NY — A 31-year-old man was fatally shot at an album release party near Bed-Stuy, according to police and reports.

Kameron Hall, 31, of Brooklyn, was shot Saturday about 3:25 a.m. in an event space on Eastern Parkway between Herkimer Street and Atlantic Avenue, according to the NYPD and The New York Daily News.

Hall was shot in the torso and rushed to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Police had not made any arrests Sunday.

Witnesses told the Daily News Hall was in an argument with another person when three shots rang out. Neighbors say they had heard fighting and screaming at the noisy party before police arrived.

The owner of the property told the Daily News he was shocked by the death.

“Somebody’s dead for no reason. I don’t know what happened,” the property owner said. “Someone lost their son. I don’t want this going on in the neighborhood.”
