Man Fatally Struck By J Train In Bed-Stuy, Officials Say

A 35-year-old man died Tuesday after being struck by a J train entering a Bed-Stuy station, police said.

BED-STUY, NY — A straphanger was fatally struck by a J train running alongside Bed-Stuy Tuesday night, according to police.

The man, 35, was hit by a train pulling into the Kosciuszko train station about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene, but an investigation continued Wednesday, police said.

The incident prompted significant J train delays at about 9:20 p.m., according to MTA.
