Man Hit By J Train In Bed-Stuy: NYPD

A man is expected to live after being hit by a subway train in Brooklyn early Tuesday morning.

BED-STUY, NY — A man was expected to live after he was hit by a J train in Bed-Stuy Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.

A man in his 40s was on the tracks near the Flushing Avenue station about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday when he was struck by a southbound J train, police said.

He was rushed to an area hospital but expected to live, police said.

J trains in both directions were delayed and altered as late as 5:20 a.m., according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
