Man Shot Dead Inside Car In Bed-Stuy, Cops Say

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 34-year-old man was shot dead inside a car in Bed-Stuy on Monday, according to police.

Cops found Orenzo Bovell shot in the chest inside a car near Quincy Street and Patchen Avenue around 5:45 p.m., according to police.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There were no arrests in the homicide as of Tuesday morning.

Bovell was from Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, records show.
