Man Shot In Foot Near Marcy Houses In Bed-Stuy: Police Say

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man was shot in the foot near Bed-Stuy's Marcy Houses Monday night, police say.

The shooter squeezed off a shot from a black Jeep near Park and Nostrand avenues about 10:30 p.m., police said.

The injured man was rushed to Kings County Hospital with a bullet wound in the left foot and is expected to recover, police said.

Authorities said they could not verify reports of a vehicle or gun recovered, but told Patch that no arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.

Police said that the investigation is still ongoing.
