Man Slashes Brooklyn A Train Rider, Disappears Into Subway System: Reports
Never to be seen again.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man who identified himself as ”John” to CBS New York said he was slashed in the neck by a stranger in Bed-Stuy’s Nostrand Avenue subway station late Wednesday night, right after stepping off the A Train.
“I just felt a bump,” he said. (Video interview above.) “I just felt something on my face. I initially didn’t think anything of it, and the guy ran off. But people started saying to me, ‘He cut you. You’re bleeding.’ And I felt my face, and all this blood.”

John said he watched as his attacker jumped onto the train tracks and disappeared into a subway tunnel.
An NYPD spokesman confirmed to DNAinfo that the suspect “disappeared into the westbound tunnel heading toward Franklin Avenue.”

Investigators are reportedly still looking for the slasher.
“I had about eight to ten stitches,” the victim told CBS. ”The doctor said about an inch more he would have hit an artery.”
