CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — Mayor Eric Adams has another reason to heart NYC — laundry.

This week, Adams helped celebrate the grand opening of Pearl Lee's Washtub — a combined bar and laundromat — in Crown Heights this week.

"I love seeing the new ways our small business owners are innovating in New York City," Adams said in a Tweet. "Pearl Lee's Washtub in Crown Heights is a great example, allowing people to do their laundry and have a drink."

The sudsy spot opened in March near Rogers Avenue and Montgomery Street, serving up burgers, hot dogs, beer, wine, coffee and pastries while the laundry turns. The space is funky and inviting, with a bar area to sit and watch TV and an outdoor patio.

Wednesday's grand opening was marked with a full day of tastings - starting off with Brooklyn Glizzy's at 2:30 p.m., to a tasting from Radiant Pig Brewing and capped with a salmon and black bean chipotle burger tasting. Gifts were presented to the laundromat's first four card holders.

"Ease the chore of laundry with libations," owners wrote on Facebook.

Pearl Lee's is serving up some serious cocktails in addition to craft beers and wine, like a "Pearltinni."
