Meet Your East Bed-Stuy Community Cops on Aug. 27
The NYPD is hosting a community get-together with East Bed-Stuy's community cops on Aug. 27.

The gathering is being put on by the NYPD's 81st Precinct, which patrols the eastern half of Bed-Stuy, and the Clergy Council Board. Here are the details:
- Time: Saturday, Aug. 27 at 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Location: Ralph Avenue between Macon and MacDonough Streets in Brooklyn

Free food and family activities, such as face painting and a puppet show, are also planned. The 81st Precinct Clergy Council Board members in attendance will be pastors Taylor and Osbourne, Bishop Claudio and Reverend Luperena.

Two NCOs are assigned to each quadrant, and serve as a point of contact for local residents.
