Man Stabbed In Back On Midday Subway Ride Through Park Slope: NYPD
The man was stabbed as his 2 train entered the Bergen Street station on Flatbush Avenue Monday afternoon, according to the NYPD.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A straphanger was stabbed in the back on a train running underneath Park Slope Monday afternoon, police said.
The man, 49, was attacked on Manhattan-bound 2 train between the Grand Army Plaza and Bergen Street stops just before 1 p.m., police said.
The suspect began arguing with the man then stabbed him in the right side with a knife, according to the NYPD.

The suspect ran from the Flatbush Avenue station and disappeared, police said. Police officials could not confirm whether the knife was recovered at the scene.
Medics took the 49-year-old to Methodist Hospital where he received three stitches for his wound, according to police.

The NYPD has released video footage of the suspect exiting the station, wearing a black baseball hat, a pale-peach colored polo shirt, black shorts and white sneakers. The image also shows long hair behind his hat and the suspect carrying a large manila envelope and a shoulder bag slung over his back.
