Bed-Stuy's Business Improvement District is Partying for the Holidays

The BID's 7th annual meeting is on Dec. 7, and it's followed by the BID's first ever holiday party.

BED-STUY, NY — The Bed-Stuy Gateway Business Improvement District (BID) is holding its seventh annual meeting and holiday party next week so members of the community can discuss and vote on important issues like the financial budget, neighborhood small business, and improving the neighborhood's economy. The meeting will promptly be followed by the BID's first annual holiday party.

The guest speaker at the meeting will be Captain Charles Minch, the commanding officer of the 79th precinct. Scott M. Stringer, New York City's comptroller, will also speak at the event.

The Bed-Stuy BID asks that if you are a property owner, business owner, or community resident within the BID’s boundaries, and wish to vote on the slate for your specific member class at this year’s Annual Meeting, they need to have a completed copy of the BID’s Member Registration Form on file by Monday, Dec. 5th.

They also ask that you RSVP by Friday, Dec. 5th to the meeting. You can RSVP here.

The meeting for stakeholders and BID members and the party take place on Wednesday, Dec. 7th, at 5:30 pm, at the Center for Arts and Culture’s Skylight Gallery, located on the third floor of 1368 Fulton St., in the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation.
