11-Year-Old Slashes Teen Outside Bed-Stuy School, Cops Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — An 11-year-old boy slashed a 13-year-old in the face outside a Bed-Stuy charter school Wednesday morning, according to police and the FDNY.

The 11-year-old attacked the older boy outside Leadership Prep Bed-Stuy Academy on Macon Street between Marcy and Tompkins avenues about 7:40 a.m., said police and the FDNY.

The 13-year-old rushed into the school to call 911 and was taken to Maimonides Hospital to be treated for a cut on his face, police said.

The 11-year-old has been taken to police custody, according to the NYPD.
