BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — NYPD homicide detectives believe they've got their hands on a video (above) of the man who murdered young Brooklyn dad Harold Culler in Bed-Stuy on April 19.
Culler, 24, was fatally shot multiple times in the face and body at 891 Hancock St., near Bushwick, according to the NYPD.
He was pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital, police said.
The victim lived on Stanley Avenue in the City Line neighborhood, near East New York. According to his social-media activity, he recently became a father to a little girl.
In the days following his murder, Culler's extended family set up a GoFundMe page for his daughter, "Bliss Harleigh."
"Harold's kind heart and giving spirit helped many people. For all those asking his siblings how they can help us during this time, please donate to Bliss's education through a [trust] we have built for her," the page says. "It [takes] a village to raise a child. Nothing is to small. It starts with us. We gave our word to raise her right."
A Facebook user named Christopher Culler, who said he was the victim's older brother, wrote online after the murder: "What Am I Going To Do...I Look At Your Daughter And Cant Help But Cry."
Another friend posted the following tribute video.
Culler's funeral will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home in Weeksville, near Bed-Stuy. He will be laid to rest at Cypress Hills Cemetery.
More than a week after Culler's murder, no one has been held accountable: The NYPD said Tuesday that the case is still under investigation.
