Regina's Grocery To Open In Bed-Stuy
The well-loved Italian deli is coming to Bedford Avenue as Bed-Stuy pizzeria owners turn their focus to bagels.

BED-STUY, NY — One of New York City's favorite sandwich shops is heading to Bed-Stuy, bringing with it Italian deli staples and coffee.
Regina's Grocery's fifth location will sit on Bedford Avenue between Lexington and Greene Avenues, taking over Valentine's Pizza space, according to its website.
Regina's first opened in the Lower East Side in 2018 and has become a favorite for sandwich lovers citywide, boasting subs like The Uncle Jimmy, a mix of prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, hot sopressata, arugula, roasted red peppers and his mother's hot Calabrian Chili spread.

It's not yet known when Regina's Grocery will open in Bed-Stuy, but it's coming in hot off its fourth opening in Yorkville in November.
For Valentine's Pizza, ditching the Bed-Stuy storefront will allow the owners to focus on their next-door bagel shop, Greenberg’s Bagels, Eater reported.
