Suspected Shooter Charged In Slaying Of Beloved Bed-Stuy Woman: NYPD
The suspected shooter was charged weeks after a shooting on Thanksgiving that killed a beloved Brooklyn woman.

BED-STUY, NY — A man accused of fatally shooting a beloved Brooklyn woman on Thanksgiving was charged Thursday, police said.
Danny Daniel, 61, of Brooklyn, faces murder and weapons charges related to the Nov. 23 slaying of 69-year-old Brevoort Houses resident Angelina Renita Parker, according to the NYPD.
Daniel had previously been apprehended in Greenville, S.C. in November, and was arrested and charged in Brooklyn Thursday, according to police and the New York Daily News.

Parker, a teacher at a neighborhood daycare, was beloved by many in the community, according to the Daily News.
She was shot in the neck on Nov. 23 about 11 p.m. in front of her residence on Bainbridge Street between Ralph and Patchen avenues, police said. Her suspected shooter lived just across the street, police said.

“Such a senseless death,” her mother Mary Parker told the Daily News. “It’s just devastating. … She was a kind, loving person. A go-to person, always willing to help.”
