Teen Sexually Assaulted By DOE Employee Inside Bed-Stuy School: NYPD
An education department employee exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl in a Brooklyn special needs school, according to police and a report.

BED-STUY, NY — An education department employee exposed himself to a teenager inside a Bed-Stuy special needs school, police said.
Malik Dixon, 28, pleaded not guilty to criminal sex act charges related to the assault last Friday at PS 373 Transition Center near Throop Avenue and Ellery Street, according to police and the New York Daily News.
A 16-year-old girl went to the gym area of the school and found Dixon fixing his pants, police said. Then, Dixon put his penis into the teenage girl's mouth, according to the NYPD.

Dixon's parents told the Daily News he is autistic and has been trained to work with mentally disabled students.
Police sources said Dixon is a teacher's aide, but could not confirm whether the teenager was a student.

Dixon's parents told the Daily News they were shocked by the incident.
"I felt just cold and confused because my son hasn’t been in trouble with anyone," said Dixon's father. "There have been no problems before at all."
Dixon was arrested about 4 p.m. Friday and he's expected back in court on Feb. 15.
