BROOKLYN, NY — A track fire in Brooklyn halted three train lines during rush hour on Thursday morning, according to transit officials.

The blaze broke out just before 8:30 a.m. between Kosciuszko Street and Myrtle Avenue stations, according to MTA alerts.

Video from the underpass on Broadway near Beattie Square shows flames shooting onto the road below while smoke billows from the tracks.

The dramatic fire was extinguished 20 minutes later, but service was suspended on the J, Z and M lines near the stations for at least two hours, according to officials.
