VIDEO: A Senior Pool Party in Bed-Stuy!
Meet Bed-Stuy's "coolest" bunch of older adults at the seniors-only pool party
The Bed-Stuy Aging Improvement District (AID) today kicked off its seniors-only swim hours at the Kosciuszko Pool, located at 670 Marcy Avenue between Dekalb Avenue and Kosciuszko Street.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., through the end of August, local seniors (ages 62 and older) are invited to take part in a free, all-out pool party with music, refreshments and Aqua Zumba led by an instructor from the Bed-Stuy YMCA.
Seniors had a ball in the summer sun, as they took advantage of a great way to mingle, laugh, splash and stay cool!
