VIDEO: Despite Rain, TAMA Summerfest Kicks off With a Bang

The Tompkins Avenue Merchants Association celebrates second annual Summerfest

The Tompkins Avenue Merchants Association (TAMA) kicked off its second annual Summerfest on Saturday with music, art, fashion and plenty of fun.

Off and on showers seemed to have kept many of the festival's potential attendees at bay. But for those that braved the rain, there seemed to be little regrets.

The festival is a way for merchants in the area to showcase their businesses and products with residents, while also create an active, pedestrian-friendly, public space.
