Video: Bed-Stuy Slashing Unfolds As Young Family Flees, Cops Say

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man was slashed in the neck this year in a dramatic fight that unfolded just feet from young children in Bed-Stuy, according to police.

The fight began between the 32-year-old man and one of his attackers, who was holding a knife, outside the Bedford Avenue and Fulton Street entrance to the Nostrand Avenue station around 3:45 p.m. on April 18, according to police and video.

The two men scuffled for a minute or so before a second attacker comes up from behind and punches the 32-year-old, video shows. The first attacker then slashes the man in the neck and the two leave with his jacket, backpack and a camera, according to police and video.

The 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital after the incident, police said.
