VIDEO: Police Seek Perps In Violent Bed-Stuy Robbery Spree

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a group of men in connection to a string of violent robberies along the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy between August and September, New York City Police Department officials said.

The first robbery happened near the corner of Broadway and Halsey Street on Aug. 18 around 4 a.m., when three unknown men approached a pedestrian and one of them said, "Run your pockets or we will stab you," according t0 NYPD officials.

The 26-year-old man gave the three perpetrators everything in his pockets, and the perpetrators ran northbound on Broadway, police said.

A week later, on Aug, 25, a 21-year-old man was robbed by four unknown men outside of 1245 Broadway around 11:30 p.m.

According to police, the group of men approached the victim from behind, and one of them said, "You wanna fight? Give me what you got in your pockets, give me your wallet and bag," while another one punched the victim in the face before fleeing down Goodwin Place.

Then, the four men robbed two young boys, 11 and 13, a few weeks later, punching one and hitting the other with a pistol on Sept. 18, around 8:30 p.m. near Kosciuszko Street and Broadway, police said.

Police said the perpetrators took both of the boys' backpacks and then fled westbound on Koscuisko Street. Both the boys were taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

There have been no arrests yet and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
