Woman And Dog Fatally Shot At Bed-Stuy Bodega: Cops
Jennifer Ynoa, who died at the hospital, lived around the corner from where she was shot, according to police.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A woman and her dog were fatally shot at a bodega in Bed-Stuy on Sunday in the city's second homicide of the year, according to police and reports.
Jennifer Ynoa, 36, was found shot in the torso on the ground outside of a smoke shop on Dekalb Avenue between Franklin Avenue and Skillman Street at 9:45 p.m., according to police. She was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Ynoa's dog, who was on a leash with her at the bodega, was also killed in the shooting, according to reports.

Ynoa lived a few blocks from the shop on Lafayette Street, records show.
The Bed-Stuy killing is the second in New York City in the New Year. On New Year's Day, a woman was found stabbed on a Bronx street just after 8:30 p.m., according to police.

There were no arrests in either homicide as of Monday morning.
