BED-STUY, NY — A woman was punched and stabbed on an A train headed into a Bed-Stuy station early Monday morning, police said.

The group of four violent strangers approached the 27-year-old about 3:30 a.m. on a Queens-bound A train approaching the Franklin Avenue station, NYPD officials said.

After punching her, the group stabbed her in the head and shoulder, police said. She was sent to an area hospital in stable condition and the attackers ran — and police continued their search Tuesday.
