KATONAH, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?

Allie is a lieutenant at our ambulance corps who manages all our training. She is involved in several committees. Allie is an outreach to the community and works in coordination with many EMS organizations.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

Allie goes above and beyond her duties as an officer and member making sure everyone is safe and the community is updated on the virus, help that is available, resources.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

Allie is an example of what all of us should be especially during these stressful times. She always has time for her members and will go to all lengths to help them.
