"Out of hundreds of entries my son's name was drawn so a new high end microscope could be donated on our behalf given by Carl Zeiss. The program was initiated in 2003 to give back to the communites of their employees," she said.
The Marshall family presented the microscope to the school last month.

It's not the first time the school was the lucky recipient of new equipment—another employee's daughter, Sarita Ovimeleh, was selected in 2007.
The new microscope is planned to be used to enhance classroom activities in the school's biology and forensic science classes.
