1. Bedford Historical Society Autumn and Antiques weekend

The Bedford Historical Society will host with renowned photographer and author William Abranowicz. Tickets for the event which include admission to the Bedford Historical Society's Antique Show, to be held on Saturday October 15th 10-5 and Sunday October 16th 11-5 at Historical Hall. Prices are $25 for members and $35 for non members.

2. E-waste recycling at Fox Lane High School

Are you saddled with old printers and computers? Stuck with a broken toaster? Don't know where to dispose of batteries?  Bring your outdated electronics, batteries, and small appliances to on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Small electronics accepted—no refrigerators, air conditioners, or light bulbs. And, it's free! Sponsored by the Town of Pound Ridge Sustainability Task Force, Pound Ridge Conservation Board, Bedford Central School District Sustainability Committee, and eLot Recycling.

3. New bloggers: A musician, a decorator and a health coach

The local voices on Bedford-Katonah Patch keep growing—it's tough to keep up but we learn something new every day from local writers who are contributing their talents, thoughts and expertise to the site. This week we welcome Marie Aoukar, a health coach, Joshua Worby, Executive Director of the Westchester Philharmonic, and Marie Graham, a decorator.
