HUDSON VALLEY — A quick moving winter storm is forecast to bring snow and a wintry mix to the region Tuesday night, as a second winter storm is headed our way, expected to arrive on Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service has issued Hazardous Weather Outlooks in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster and Orange counties.

The first round of snow is expected to start falling tonight after 9 p.m. Around an inch of snow is forecast overnight, with 2 inches possible in some areas. This will likely result in untreated roads being snow-covered and hazardous tonight into the Wednesday morning commute, according to the NWS.
