Bedford Central School District Budget Sees Increase of 1.73 Percent
The budget stays within the allowable tax levy increase mandated by state.

BEDFORD-KATONAH, NY—The proposed 2017-18 budget for the Bedford Central School District includes an increase of 1.73 percent over current spending.
Total proposed spending for the school year is $128,999,334. The proposed increase in the tax
levy is 1.92 percent compared to the 1.92 allowable tax levy increase mandated by the state.
The school district will hold an informational hearing on the proposed budget on May 3. The vote on
the budget will be held on May 16.
