Bedford, Katonah: Why Are You Voting?

Resident Audree Farrington doesn't have strong opinions when it comes to the proposed 2013-2014 budget for Katonah-Lewisboro Schools, or the school board candidates, but that didn't stop her from showing up at the polls Tuesday afternoon.

"I like to vote every year if I can," she said.

Farrington was one of the few voters at Katonah Elementary School around 2:15.

Folks were trickling in and out of the polls at Increase Miller around 3:30 p.m.

"I think it's important to have a voice, as a taxpayer and as a parent," resident Rebecca Bourla said on her way into the school. "You should know where your money is going."

Did you vote, or do you plan to before the day is over? Why or why not? Whether it's a specific issue or a certain candidate, share your reasoning here.
