Bedford Police: 2 Chappaqua Girls Charged in Larceny

Two teen girls from Chappaqua, one 17 and the other 18, are facing misdemeanor charges of petty larceny following an incident at the Kohl's Department Store in Bedford Hills.
The pair is accused of stealing three dresses and three skirts, valued at about $200, at about 5 p.m. May 9. The store's loss prevention team told police the defendants entered a dressing room with the items, according to Bedford Police Lt. Jeffrey Dickan. When they exited, the clothes were gone.
The items were recovered in a bag the girls were carrying, authorities said.
Each was released, pending May 30 appearances in Bedford Justice Court, on $200 bail.
