Bedford Police: $83,000 Worth of Jewelry Stolen in Reported Larceny

Several people were in and out of the home around the time the incident occurred.

Bedford Police are investigating a reported larceny involving a pair of diamond stud earrings; a diamond and gold charm bracelet; and a sapphire, gold ring, officials say.

The complainant told police the items—valued at $40,000, $30,000 and $13,000, respectively—were stolen from a bedroom bureau sometime during April or early May, according to Bedford Police Lt. Jeffrey Dickan. The property was reported missing May 7.

Several people were in and out of the Bedford home during that time frame, authorities said.
