Bedford Police Blotter: Boo Girls Theft and Driving Arrest

Boo Girls Theft

On July 30, employees of Boo Girls at 157 Katonah Avenue observed a 16-year-old female  removing two pairs of jeans. The teen was charged with petty larceny and was due to appear in town court Aug. 5.


Cell Phone Driver Arrested

 On July 30, Bedford police stopped 54-year-old Michael Debany of New Fairfield, CT for allegedly driving while using a cel phone. After processing his license, police discovered Debany was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested and released on $25 bail, due to appear in Bedford Town Court on August 12.

GPS Stolen from Car

At 11:06 a.m. police received a call reporting a theft. The caller said that a phone, valued at $60 and a GPS, valued at $800 was taken from an unlocked car in their driveway. The investigation is ongoing.
