Bedford Police Find Crack Cocaine During Traffic Stop

Police found crack cocaine and a glass crack pipe when they pulled over a 57-year-old Mahopac man on Green Lane in Bedford, officials say.

Martin Nolletti was driving 2000 Toyota Corolla on Bedford Road near Norm Avenue around 9 p.m. Thursday when cops noticed one headlight was out, Bedford Police Lt. Jeffrey Dickan said. They stopped him on Green Lane.

Nolletti appeared nervous during the interview, according to officials. When asked if he had any illegal contraband, he reportedly admitted to being in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine, and a glass crack pipe.

Police arrested Nolletti on a misdemeanor charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released after posting $250 bail, and is due in Bedford Justice Court May 30.
