Bedford Village Pastry Owner Loses 12K in Payroll
Michel Rossignol is reportedly willing to pay a reward for money he lost.
Most people can recall a time in their lives when they've been forgetful.
But misplacing $12,000 in cash is a costly mistake Michel Rossignol says he's willing to pay for.
When Rossignol, the owner of , went to work last week, he accidentally left an envelope containing the cash—intended for the store's payroll—on top of his car, News12 reported.

Rossignol said he forgot he had placed the envelope with the money on top of his van while he loaded a ladder via the rear hatch. He didn't remember until he arrived at the pastry shop from his home in South Salem.
Rossignol has owned the bakery since 1995. He makes custom cakes and pastries and serves quiches, sandwiches and coffee in the shop.

He says he is willing to pay a $1,200 finder's fee to anyone that finds the bulk of the missing money. He was able to recover a small amount money near his house.
