3. Single's night at the new J.P.'s Lounge

For any locals looking to meet some new friends or that someone special, J.P.'s Lounge at Le Chateu is hosting a singles event, with a wine and cocktail menu, small plates menu and views to boot.

4. Two Community Members Needed for Audit Committee

The Bedford Central Board of Education is seeking applications for appointment to the District’s Audit Committee, a five-member committee comprised of three Board of Education members and two community members. The committee must collectively possess knowledge in accounting, auditing, financial reporting and school district finances. Those wishing to be considered may obtain an application and a copy of the Audit Committee charter at the district’s website (www.bcsdny.org) or from Carole LaColla, District Clerk, either by phoning the office at 241-6011 or e-mailing clacolla1777@bcsdny.org. Applications should be submitted by June 17, 2011.
