
“BEST4NY” (“Better Education and Smarter Taxation 4 New York”) a non-partisan citizens advocacy group based in Westchester, will hold a public forum and information meeting – “Solving New York’s Unfunded Mandate Crisis” – on Tuesday, October 2, at 7:30 p.m., in the “Little Theatre,” at Fox Lane Middle School, Route 172, Bedford, NY 10506. The public and media are invited to attend.
Forum speakers include:
- Brian Kolb (R,C,I-Canandaigua), New York State Assembly Minority Leader;
- George Oros, Chief of Staff for Westchester County Executive, Rob Astorino; and
- Mary Foster, Mayor -City of Peekskill, Member of Mayoral Task Force on Mandate and Property Tax Relief of the New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM); and
- Lisa Davis, Executive Director, Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association
